ARK Scan Updates - Homepage

A new update for ARK Scan has arrived, and this time, we’ve made significant changes to the homepage. The updated homepage now features a more user-friendly and simplified design. Let’s take a closer look at the design changes.

General Statistics & Price Chart

We’ve made some improvements to the information box, now positioned on the left side. It includes the following details:

  • Current Supply: Displays the total supply of ARK.
  • Volume (24h): Sum of all transaction values in the last 24 hours.
  • Market Cap: The current market capitalization value in the user’s selected currency.
  • Block Height: Shows the height of the last confirmed block.

For more statistical information, simply click on ‘View’ to access the dedicated ‘Statistics’ page.

On the right side, you’ll find an enhanced graph that allows users to switch between different timeframes (day, week, month, year, all-time) and view data points by hovering over specific times.

Transactions Table

The new table adopts a consistent design seen throughout the internal pages, offering improved readability. It includes the following columns:

  • Tx ID: Displays a truncated transaction ID. Clicking on it provides more details.
  • Age: Indicates the time when the transaction was confirmed and added to the blockchain. Hovering over it reveals the full timestamp.
  • Type: Shows the transaction type for each transaction.
  • Addressing: Specifies the sender and recipient addresses for the transaction.
  • Amount (ARK): Indicates the amount of ARK transferred in the transaction. Hovering over it displays the FIAT value.
  • Fee (ARK): Shows the fees paid for the transaction. Hovering over it displays the FIAT value of the fee.

At the table’s end on the left, you’ll find the total number of transactions on the blockchain, and on the right, users can click ‘View All’ to access a dedicated ‘Transactions’ page.

Blocks Table

Similar to the transactions table, the updated blocks table provides more insightful details about blocks, including:

  • Block Height: Displays the height of the block included in the blockchain. Clicking on it reveals additional block details.
  • Age: Indicates the time when the block was confirmed and added to the blockchain. Hovering over it shows the full timestamp.
  • Generated By: Specifies the delegate who generated the block. Clicking on it provides details of the delegate’s address.
  • Transactions: Shows the number of transactions included in a block.
  • Volume (ARK): Represents the sum of all transaction amounts in the block.
  • Total Reward (ARK): Sum of block rewards and transaction fees.
  • Value (ARK): Displays the reward value in the user’s chosen currency.

At the table’s end on the left, you’ll find the total number of blocks generated and confirmed by delegates. On the right, users can click ‘View All’ to access a dedicated ‘Blocks’ page.

ARK Vault Block

We’ve added a new block promoting the ARK Vault wallet, designed for convenient ARK asset management. The banner links to the ARK Vault homepage, where users can find more information.
