The ARK Token Exchange Campaign (TEC) has come to an end, and the ARK Crew will now transition to the next phase of development — ATLANTIS. We have been overwhelmed with positive feedback, and could not be more thankful for your support during our campaign. As our minimum goal of 2,000 BTC was not met, we will be having a refund phase for those who are no longer interested in supporting the ARK Ecosystem and its development. We just want to say thank you for your support, and for taking a chance on ARK. Even if you choose to part ways, we truly do appreciate your trust in our team.

For those of you who still choose to board the ARK, buckle your seatbelts because we aim to misbehave. We have said from the beginning that ARK isn’t just a crypto currency, ARK is a movement. Let me reassure you, we mean it. In the 35 days since we started this campaign, we have already released open source versions of our core client, our mobile wallet, our desktop wallet, a fully functioning testnet, and we have no plans of slowing down, money be damned. With your help, the ARK movement continues to grow each and every day. Together we will continue on full steam ahead to our next major milestone; Mainnet (codename “Atlantis”).
Our current testnet release is already showing stable performance beyond our initial expectations. To put things in perspective, here are some encouraging initial accomplishments:
- Over 20 community delegates already forging
- One of our Delegates has 100% productivity after 1675 blocks forged!
- No forking, no consensus issues, no scripts necessary.
- We even have someone running a Raspberry Pi 3 (and it’s actually forging!)
All of the above was accomplished while simultaneously running the token exchange, doing interviews, pushing marketing and PR materials, and answering questions from the community in Slack, Bitcointalk, and on our Forum. With a renewed ability to focus 100% of our energy on testnet, we have some exciting developments in store for the next couple weeks, including our first working example of the SmartBridge in action! If you think what we’ve done so far is impressive, we’re just getting started.
